@mik
it took AGES before i could get the download started, just keep trying.
it took about 35 seconds on the last try before it started.

I downloaded it now and are going to try it tonight when i'm coming home. Many of you have been been negative about this app but i must confess that i have been searching for something like this for a time.

I hope that it's working properly and that i can choose a button to set the light on / light auto, a great app if it's good!

I often work with my P900 whithout stylus just reading, right now i have the internetbutton assigned so i can turn on the light with that when the auto mode turns it of.

When i have my P900 laying on a table i have to push that little button after 20-30 seconds and thats irritating, better than if i on that button can choose light always on and when i'm ready can choose light auto!

Off course it drains battery. But it's no difference if i keep the light on by pushing a button every 20-30 second or if it on constantly when i'm reading.

I use my P900 alot for the web, calender, e-book reading, etc...

I have to charge it every evening so i don't bother if it only have 15% left in the battery instead of 25-30% as it is now.

Right now some guys are talking about this app in another thread, i think they not know what they are talking about when they say that this kind of app is not needed.

I'm gonna test it and see if it's good made...

Now i'm using it. I have set on/off at the web button and it works very well. Now i don't need to go to control panel to set it on ''always light", i use this mode sometimes when i don't wanna keep on activating the phone all the time to lighten it up. For example when i'm on a meeting and have the agenda in my phone.

If there where a function where flipclosing did shut the light of it would be good, then the risk of forgetting it on would be minimal.

Sorry for my bad english..

errr... guys, will any of you still ARGUE over this neat little app if, let's say... IT'S COMPLETELY FREE and oh, check out the pricing of the rest of his apps there too

http://advmobile.narod.ru/buy.htm

Just a note, ADVMobile (Denis Artemov in particular) has been extremely great, cos not only did he replies to all my queries (not about Turn On the Light but SMSChat), he is also trying hard to incorporate those features that I had requested and if everything is as planned, wait till the next version of SMSChat guys

Cheers
