Portugal is nokia-land, but since the T610 and Z600 there's more and more SE around. It also helps that the latest Nokias are a pile of smelly dung. Even so, most people would buy a 6600 over a K700. (and there's 6600 everywhere...)

Here in US I see mostly Nokia and Samsung models. Motorola is also popular. SE has only a few models that are available from Operators T230,610 and T237/637/Z500a, so it gets overlooked easily. I am pomoting SE as good as I can here.

That is true, but the people I know that have bought it are really disappointed with it's UI, features and overall day to day usage.. that will hopefully lend itself to other manufacturers as those who buy this Moto may be put off saying "hello moto" in the future...
