I think the only thing that annoys me about my K700i right now is the fact it cannot stand on its side. Unlike the T610 and T630, the K700i does not have flat sides, so you either have to lay the phone on its back, or face down.
Like you said, only a minor issue that relates to my personal preference.

I didn't know the K700i had speakerphone either. My F/W is R2A. Just tried placing a call, press joystick to select HOLD, then select TURN ON SPEAKER from the list.
You learn a new thing every day! Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to learn something else

tnx car, im aware of this feature even before i bought my k7 last year, i just dont like and not interested in using this. its so happened that someone close to me who was a nokia user now using k7 ask me this speakerphone thing. and also many of my friends are already converted to SE.
the speakerphones audio quality is quite good compare to my friends 6260 but it's also quite soft or it is just my ear.

great cam, excellent screen, decent battery life with r2ae fw..all in all, a best-in-class phone

This is the best phone I ever had. I like:
* 41 mb (compared with 850kb in my T230 or 2 mb in my T630, it's magnificant)
* 176x220 screen (supa-dupa clear

)
* 40 voice polyphonic (doesn't mean much to me, cuz ->
* Mp3 ringtones

)
* Mp4 melodies to (excelent for storing music that you listen, and with hadset, the quality us super)
* VGA camera (I don't really need a megapixel, I think this Is an ideal camera for a phone like this)
* camera light (very usefull)
* 3D java games (takes gaming to a whole new level

)
* video playback (just love it)
* themes (can't live without them)
* bluetooth and infra (vital)
* best reception among Sony Ericssons, and many other manufactors
* easy to use
* radio and media player (musicmania man :-!)
I think this phone will last me for long, more than 1.5 years. I say buy it. And I bought it cheap too (186 euros, or 240 us dollars)

The K700i is a great phone. I just wished the connector/charger cover at the bottom were made better, not this crappy plastic that is now loose and deformed.

my oficemates are still fascinated with the screen resolution and the audio quality when im playing mp3's.
fm radio is very useful to me whehever i go on fishing or jogging/walking at sea side.
my recurrent alarm never fails me(except but its very rare when i got drunk) with "Bring me to Life" as my alarm signal.
calendar is also very useful, i never forget bday's and special events i stored ever since i had t68m and transfering from t68 to t610 and now k700 is very easy the same thing in transfering contacts.
all in all, im satisfied with this phone. i like p910i because of the internet browser but i dont like big phones. if only SE can produce a smart phone with the size of k700i then i'll be very well satisfied
