If SE was to become No 1 (maybe in 2015 ) I don't they will be criticised. If Samsung was No 1 next year I would congratulate them wholeheartedly.

you will get the knockers whoever is no1 you may not critsie and i may not.
but there will be plenty out there who will, there was a thread on esato not long ago of people complaining that there were to many se phones around and they didnt feel special anymore. they were complaining that joe public was taking there special baby away
go figure after months of telling everyone how good se phones were they then complain that people are buying them

I actually think the Nokia site isn't too bad....I lurked here for a few weeks before deciding on a V800 vs a Nokia 6630...so looked at both alot.
I was very torn between the two phones but in the end didnt like the shape of the 6630. However the 6630 is a damn good smart phone and would of come very close to replacing my PDA so I only would of had to carry one bit of kit the majority of the time. However I like a flip phone and the external colour screen was a big point for me....plus the desktop charger/sync availability.
Plus there seems to be alot more forums and support for the SE devices. I am hoping I have made the right decision (the woman at carphone warehouse said she has had tons of 6630's back with horrific software problems) but I do have 14 days to decide
SE produce good phones and I think their future releases such as the candybar Z800 will really put them further on.

@Metaphor I am glad you think you have made the right choice. The support you get for SE products, especially here, is quite priceless.

@Arez What is the most popular where you are? Hasn't SE just started campaigning in S America?

SE arent competing in a niche market.

Secondly, when we refer to market shares we are only looking at sales and popularity of the phone in this case, and the point here is that SE are not very popular world wide compared to other phone manufacturers.

@ganguly100! first of all i just read the first 2 post.

please think before you say something like that. SE is still new and has got problems with manufacturies and logistics. marketshare doesn't mean anything anymore.
SE sold more phones that last Q and they are profitable, siemens that has a bigger market share isn't profitable.
