is it me or the animated icons on the K750 are much slower/jerked than the smooth nice animated icons of the K700?
Moreover, there aren't much nice thems for the K750 yet?

I totally agree with you. The K700's animated menu was cooler. K750 icons have an exaggerated shadow in my opinion.
Still awaiting for some decent themes. K750 does offer the choice to extend the wallpaper to the whole display, though.
