The SH888 Monster-Edition is quite funny.
Battery is revived and can make a good job now. Still a bit weak, but this will go better from time to time, I think.
I've used the Monster Edition for a phone call just twice for checking the 'monster'-feeling. It's okay and is possible to use this special cover for a call. But I'll give this handset a nice place (safe for dust and water ) where it can rest the next years.

The techn developement is really amazing, that t28 with bhc10 gives 175 h standby time, the same batt with t39 almost 2.5 times more. Same at r320 and r520 This message was posted from a Nokia

@tiger do u have any idea, how to make the good old nicad and nimh batts working even after years? We should find a way to avoid the situation, that gh, ga etc series couldnt be turned on cos of dead batts. This message was posted from a Nokia

@kothor: They are from Taiwan and China. Found on ebay (China)

@boba: on the one hand there's the possibility to use the handset as often as possible. (I know, not very comftable)
An other possibility is to revive your 'dead' batteries. Most times it works, to use a universal charger and some cable. Select ~9V and give some seconds power to the battery (be carefull to use the right pole). After that try to charge with regular charger (best with a desktop charger MCx000 series) . If charging process is started -> very good. If charging doesn't start try again with cable-solution. It has worked on most of my batteries, but I also have some out of 3xx and some out of 6xx and 7xx series, which are complete dead and no chance to revive.
