For as long as you do not delete that message, that icon will constantly be on your "desktop." There are some that I know who do not want to delete the message as it's an interesting icon for the phone, rarely seen.

Good morning all. @crowing the globe internet APN still works with hotpop just use mail.globenet.com.ph as your smtp server. As for wap over GPRS on your phone, as well as email, you can get a second sim from sun(or smart) like i did and still surf globe's unaffiliated sites like esato.:-)
