Hi,
I just posted a similar comment in "Technical" but just realised this is a more relevant section.
My K750i crashes my Mac

Only happens when I connect the USB cable to the Mac and actually all MP3's and/or files get transferred successfully to the K750i. But a little while later in standby, my Mac shows the black "crash" screen (forcing you to hold down the Power button).
I have NEVER experienced a crash before this and that's like almost a year of using my Powerbook G4 so I suspect it may be the "unsupported" K750's USB connection to Mac that's causing this.
Sigh.. hope a fix comes soon as USB transfer for MP3's is obviously way faster than BT (for which I have relatively no major issues)
Any comments?
Z

@zhudm
Your problem is mentioned in this thread. Next time please use the search feature rather than start a NEW thread that covers the same thing.
It seems that everyone, including the z800 users are having this problem. I am sure SE or Apple will address it in the near term.

I have read and re-read this post trying to figure out what value this post adds. We all know that Darwin is at the core, they connect via USB, BT, and it cannot actually connect via MS DUO but it reads the MS DUO. So what were you trying to say? Because you see no reason for it not to work does not mean that it will.

Forgive me for not having read the previous 36 pages, but I am having problems connecting my K750i to my Mac. My work machine is a G4 867Mhz DP running OS 10.2.8, do I need 10.3.x or higher???
TIA

I have 10.3 on my G4 and although the K750i is recognised as a device in the system profiler, it doesn't come up on the desktop when the USB cable is plugged in which means I STILL can't do anything! Help!
