Still looking for a good translated news:

Ericsson will start a development center in Nürnberg/Germany in Oktober 2005.
It will be a part of Ericsson Mobile Platforms and they will develop mobile prototypes and test mobile applications.

Yes, it'S real Ericsson, because the base of the SE is still Ericsson and the hardware is stil developed by Ericsson.

Maybe I have to talk to my wife to move from north of Germany to the south!

I suspect that /// will develop new phones to test their new systems like they did with the wakaba to test on their new 3g systems. The wakaba was designed as a test mule and not as an end user phone.

Ericsson to develop again these protos for 3g tests and not ending in the mass market? How sad!!!!

Mr. Ericsson: " We will design a phone with an Ericsson touch"
Mr. Sony : " You design and we will see it."
Mr. Ericsson: " Mr. Sony-san, here is the prototype"
Mr. Sony : " Ah great, great, great. Test first the proto and when finished, we will add more Sony into it. Good Day Mr. Ericsson-san.

Well the realities of technology.
Bottom line, this Ericsson thread should really be preserved in order to really savor the Ericsson-ness of our Ericsson phones before it is totally gone.
