N97 the king? For you maybe.

You're missing the point. The Iphone is just pretty UI, the Pixon is a non smartphone and the HD is the only one that stands up to Satio even with an 8 mp camera.

So, all of those phones (besides the HD) you mentioned don't stand up to Satio. Also your 'king', the N97 has a weak processor thus hampering its speed.

I'm talking about upcoming competition from Nokia, Samsung and LG not what you brought up as competition.

Sorry but the N97 is a best seller but I am waiting to have a SE touch smartphone like the Satio, X2 or X3 even if the upcoming phones instead of maybe the HTC firestone

And I got flamed when I dared to suggest this device was going to be too expensive and late.... But I am right again I see!

August 31st...Too late? Are you on drugs??

The N97 sells for 500 pounds in the UK. It is million times better and is 40 pound more costly. Gawd!!

@KU

Sales are an entirely different matter, my problem was you labelling the N97 'the king'. Trust me that is among the less impressive Nokias. It is not the N95/N95 8GB, N82, E71 which could easily wear the title of 'the king'. The N97 is average and nothing special.

In terms of sales SE is unlikely to touch Nokia but Satio can touch the N97's sales if marketed properly.
The N97 will not be another 5800.

It's in the news that Symbian^4 will never going to be compatible with current S60 and will be phase out in the near future. Is it wise not to get any S60 device right now regardless of brandname? Man, this is my dilemma. I'm so wanting to get Satio...

Symbian^4 will probably be out in 2011 or thereafter. No use wasting your sleep over it.

I hope you've got true for the sales cause I agree with you when you say that the N97 isn't the best hardware around but it is a nokia Nseries new phone

NOKIA N97 does exactly what its meant to do, very well i might add, offcourse HW wise its lacking a bit,its certainly not my fav phone, id rather get a Sam Innov8 or OmniaHD, BUT the N97 seems to be very fast through the UI and pretty stable showing that NOKIA actualy work hard to Optimize a phones software to work well with the hardware, and take full advantage of it unlike some manufacturers.
NOKIA N97 one of the worst high-ends? nah,try P990, and K850. The point is it does EXACTLY what it says on the box very well, or is the looks more important than that? PMPL.
Dups
I agree, N97 is a bit average compared to OmniaHD, but thats it, i cant see another smartphone as highly specd both software and hardware wise at the same time as both of them out right now, both can be a smartphone and dumbphone at the "tap" of a screen.
I have to say,the Satio has had me interested,if i had the cash and it was out id probably get it, its an S60 SE with TI OMAP3430 CPU, WHAT MORE WOULD I WANT!? I just hope its as good as a OmniaHD. SE must prove to me that its worth paying over $600 for a Multimedia Phone that doesnt even have a proper headphones jack.
