I sent mine back on Saturday, in the 5 days I had it it restarted in the middle of something about 5 times, had 5 or 6 kern errors and didn't have enough memory a couple of times, saturday it didn't have enough memory to open a txt I thought that's it your going back, a friend of mine just got a MDA Vario III and after seeing that and it hadn't crashed I decided I didn't want to hang around and see if SE fix it with the new sw, good luck everyone

I have had mine since Tuesday, so 6 solid days.
Swiss Manager is good, but the Pro version is a lot better. Well worth the investment. Currently the uptime is 1 day 16 hours, and normally I do a daily shutdown, but want to see how it goes for now. I have done a lot of WiFi surfing, SMS, calendar and calling (via contacts and directly). Taken a few pics etc too and the current memory level is 10.6MB which is pretty good going considering the max at start up is about 15.6MB.
I have a had quite a few kern-exec errors come up but they don't seem to cause any issues and so far I have not had any unexpected shut-downs. Of course an extra 32MB (minimum) would have been good, but we have what we have so let's do what we can and make the most of it. All in all I am very happy with it.
I haven't had a chance to check out the media capability but once I do I will see how the phone fares. Of course Vijay Singh golf is a non-starter, too hungry for the device, but I have a PSP for games!!!

Hello everybody,
So far so good, crashed only ones! (too many application open!)
I have question for you all:
I had troubles setting the WLAN with my home WLAN router/gateway (Wireless-G ADSL), I have tried also with an updated router firmware but still even if the P990 connects I cannot open any webpage. Any suggestions?
I have a BTS33 (950mA) battery...SE could a used a better battery.

Tools -> Control Panel -> Device -> Connections -> Mobile Networks...
Click on the top bar thing where it says mobile networks and select GSM/3G network, then GSM only. EDIT: Thats if you want 3G off though!
Just realised what you said!
To turn GPRS off when you connect to the net with the phone, go to
Tools -> Control Panel -> Device -> Connections -> Internet Accounts -> Groups -> internet(or whatever group your GPRS connection is in) then tick it and remove it.
If that doesnt work Try:
(your GPRS account, Mine says O2 WAP GPRS) and delete it.
If you want them back just get SE to send them to you on thier support website.
