shot them another email. no reply yet
now observing any data d/l thru opera mini is not gettin accounted for. data d/l thru wap browser is gettin deducted @10p/10kb honestly.
mms d/l not accounted for.... yet
what to do? should i give it 1 more chance and wait and see?

the same happened to me too.. after i got the msg, i called up hutch on the 19th of Aug telling them tht i dont want to continue with gprs.. the cc guy told me tht it'd automatically get disconnected if you dont accept the new tariff plan.. on the 1st, when i checked if gprs was disconnected i was still able to connect, so i presumed tht this was some new wave off scheme of theirs giving old members more time. but as soon as i disconnected, i got a deduction of 104 bucks !!! Called up hutch cc and told them abt it but the guy said he'd only reimburse 49 bucks !!!! so i went to the hutch shop and made sure they reimbursed me my 104 bucks back !!

i dunno about the ports etc... but theres this long thead about free hutch gprs.....maybe you could find something useful there...ill post the link once i get home to my comp.
