@Spawn face

If this ain't a playground , why are you playing the same game with me at the same playground. I advise you to STFU yourself otherwise you deserve what are about to get. You got problem with that ? PM me, rather than posting your message here.

One thing that nobody should forget . People are visiting these forums to learn some stuff from the more experienced guys. Just don't make it a hard time for them, don't forget you were like one of them too once. How would you feel when somebody acted like this to you ?

*yawn*

This discussion is getting really old, really fast.
I suggest someone pulls out the great mighty 'lock'-icon.

you slaughter a guy with less than 100 posts for not knowing some basic principals, why? chances he might not want to come back. These are just phones not a way of life, he might be a business user with better things to do with their time than muck around trying to understand the basics of the P990i (I do agree reading the manual of any item is advisable before complaining mabout it!) no need to be nasty to people to make your self feel bigger and better.

He didn't ask for advice on how to set up an alarm without using the calendar function (loool), or anything else of the sort. he simply assumed that you couldn't do it. He may not have time to read the manual to his new £500 phone, in which case he could've asked a simple question here.

Why should it bother Ares or anybody else if ppl who don't spare enough time/thought/effort to construct a proper post never come back here? It's not as if they're contributing any value to the forum.

Ares is also 100% right that it is people without enough time/patience to learn to use the phone properly that are creating literally hundreds of threads/posts here slagging it off all the time. What value is that to this forum? If anybody who basically doens't understand how to use the P990i wants help/advice on how to do so then fine, but tell me, where did this guy ask for that?

Some people come her to learn not to contribute, Some make statements that some people would feel are wrong but no one deserves a slagging off unless they bring it upon themselves by defaming others first. This site is about sharing experiences I actualy agree with you he should have read the manual first or asked for advice, But the point I was making was no one needs a slagging off for expressing an opinion (right or Wrong) about what is after all just a phone!

He isn't contributing anything to this forum at all by coming to hasty ill-conceived conclusions. Furthermore show me where he is "slagged off"? Ares insinuates that the guy is 'dumb', but that's hardly worth getting your knickers in a twist! No need to be so dramatic, you've fanned the flames by trying to pass judgement tbh.

Secondly, he hasn't made"statements that some people would feel are wrong". He's made statements that ARE wrong, plain and simple. That is annoying to anybody, let alone the people who happen to disagree with his point of view strongly (and clearly happen to know an infinite more about the chosen subject matter also).

if you learn how to use it you will not get any problems.. if you think ui is to slow use the trick with the video..
se will sort this out.. had an p800 that was 100 times worse than this but i was patient and everything was fixed.. i dont complain, when the new uiq was made it was for sure that it wouldt run perfect on the first efforth..
my phone is working excellent with two hands and one.. just get used to the phone.. and that the phone has to been to trigger a alarm has always been so as far as i can remember, with p800, p900 and p910..
im happy with my phone and im going to keep it..

Dups! Posts: > 500

One of the things that angered me with my P910 was/is having to leave the phone on for the alarm to go off. SE have pissed me off again by doing the same with the P990. I'm up for an uprade soon and there are too many niggles with this device that I've finally decided I don't want it anymore.
