Actually your wrong JoJo but just so that you know, everday "mustard" didn't originate from america, its more from our neck or the woods right here in europe. Have a look at
HERE
"The Romans most likely developed the prepared mustards we know today. They mixed unfermented grape juice, known as "must", with ground seeds (called sinapis) to form mustum ardens, or "burning must".
"Mustard was not popular in American cooking until mild "mustard sauce" using white (actually yellow) mustard seeds, with some additional turmeric for bright yellow coloring, was made commercially available. "Honey Dijon", which is made from the combination of Dijon mustard and honey, appeals in the U.S. to a national taste for sweetness in unexpected sources. In the U.S., very mild prepared mustard is often used as a condiment in combination with ketchup."
There are many varieties of mustard, which vary in strength and flavour. Places known for their mustard include Dijon (strong) and Meaux in France, Norwich and Tewkesbury in the United Kingdom.

@axxxr - Therefore, I can conclude that the MUSTARD-gas was in part and parcel . . . invented by the Romans too

though NOT directly . . . .

Haven't read every post in this thread.
Anyway my 2 cents:
- Trial was farcical.
- The penalty is wrong, just because i'm not for death penalty, he should suffer the rest of his life caged. Death is too painless.

@ Krubach
So you don't like a quick execution with minimal pain but favour a solution of torture for the rest of his life?
Sounds like pacifist logic...
Anyway, Saddam has been sentenced to be hanged but he wants to be shot. No-one has noticed the significant difference:
Hanging is for a civilian criminal, Firing Squad is for
soldiers and reflects Saddam's belief that he is still the Rightful Leader of Iraq and Head of its Military.
Therefore, I reckon hanging is most appropriate. What do you guys think?

@ Axxxr -
You da Man Axxxr! - You really know your stuff! 100% Accurate.
I dont think Saddam should be hanged - He should rot in prison for the rest of his life. I know he is an evil Mo'fo but the people who have brought him to Justice have much much more Blood on thier hands....Saddam's crimes disappear into obscurity when you think about how western powers have directly or indirectly caused the deaths of millions and millions of people for politically strategic and economic reasons masked by layers and layers of bullshit by manipulating the media to brainwash the masses.
We'd be here for years if we started to even scratch the surface and discuss the corruption and murder that has led to the creation of the world as it is today......
Anyway not much more time to go until the human race is no more...
Bring on judgment day the signs are here! ! !
