its jus a standard battery... they normally plop a non nokia battery into the proto phones whilst they sort out the proper ones... the one i have has no nokia markings jus a label stating its poer etc.

no idea on processor speed although its runnin a hell of a lot faster than my N93 has ever done so must b quicker than the 233mhz in the N93...
The slider is being great, no probs at all and it doesnt feel like it would give way in anytime soon! I've really abused this handset to try an make it break but its still workin an is keepin me happy! BUT i reckon it could prized away if i pulled it enough... feels a little bit more sturdy than the W850i's slider!

First off the processor in the N93 is 330mhz and secondly what firmware is your N93 running as with V20.058 it is very fast cold start up takes only 24 seconds to being usable and all apps open immediately as does changing to Laptop/Landscape mode which now has no lag or delay. Others have reported that the N95 is as fast as the N93 is now but not faster.

I apologise on the speed thing... i dont know everything lol. I just test phones an report back! I dont need to know the insides out of them...
My N93 has the v20 firmware and is a little quicker at start up but the proto's wit the latest test firmware out perform the N93 quite a bit... the ones that have been reviewed and used up to a certain point where on a pre-announcement firmware which has been constantly updated and improved slightly... the speed thing being the main one...
My N93 has a 2GB card in it which has about 200MB left on it... Its god damn slow to load anything!
My N95 has the same 2GB card in it with about 100MB free on it (nothin nicer than watchin videos landscape on huge screen!)... and its running very nice in deed (lags every now and then but not a lot!)

Hey, I still very much doubt you have a N95, never mind testing one and giving 'feed back'. Can you at least tell us to whom you are 'reporting'? I am a cop for 15 years now and from what you write (info given) does not add up. I have a few contacts at nokia on instant messaging. None of them can confirm the 2+ amps batt. trials you mentioned. As the saying goes: 'One can fool most people most of the time but not all people all the time.' Never the less, you have a nice topic going on here :)
