My experience so far with WLAN on the P1i has been positive so far never had a drop out per se sometimes the sites take a bit longer to load that might down to the B protocol.
I am using a USR wireless adsl 2+ router, wirless protocol WPA2 and Channel 11.
I just installed opera mini beta for the m600i and yet to test it.
EDIT only reason I installed the opera mini m600i beta as there is no P1i beta on the opera mini site

Finally got my WEP key an the WLAN set up on my P1. Im so happy with it now that im considering keeping it and not bothering with the iphone hehe
The only thing is that when i connect to WLAN the connection sign comes up but I have to manually then to to web to bring up a web page. Is that normal? or is a new page supposed to pop up as soon as I connect to WLAN?
Thanks

Perfectly normal. WLAN isn't only used for internet browsing. I set a web page to Google as a shortcut and hit that icon after enabling WLAN on my P1i.

Hmmm!
I was one of those people who never had any problems connecting to Wifi networks with my O2 branded phone.. Now, after debranding and installing the latest firmware, I struggle! I connect to my home network without a problem, but just can't connect to the internet through it. No settings on my router have been changed. Even the first day after debranding, I could connect without hassle! Then BOOM, suddenly it won't work!

@merlyn101
Did you restore your settings from a backup? If you did you should probably delete all existing accounts and start from scratch.
You also need to make sure that your WIFI account is listed in the internet group. Have you managed to get a connection out at all?
I debranded and updated to e30 also, and I have successfully set it up to connect to four or five different wifi networks using both WPA, WEP and open settings.

Well.. I deleted all Wifi accounts and took all out of my Internet group and now I can surf via the Default WLAN account! Makes no sense to me!

I have a Netgear DG834G v3 router and AOL Broadband as an ISP
I have tried (AFAIK) all the tips given above - but I can only connect with all security disabled
When security is disabled the Default wifi setting works and does not need to be in the internet group
Any other ideas, paticularly if someone has had success with a netgear router would be appreciated
Thanks

@ Scotland67 - I read your comments on that thread yesterday and updated my phone (also on O2) I have exactly the same firmware as yours now... But the secured connections will not work
