it worked for walkman skinning on K750/W800, and it works for menu modding on K800. Basically this is how SE handsets work - should be the same for any SE non-symbian.

Hey man, I just realized something, the colour of media player background is the colour of the theme background!
[When you upload the fullscreen_back.png to the phone, and the mp get no background]

yeah, you are right too! In K750 you could use a transparent png, and you could see the standby wallpaper behind!

max can an animated picture work? lets say for example the animated walkman picture when used in K800 would it be possible? since i have jasc animation shop pro and i can capable of making animated pictures with ease.

not sure.
I haven't looked at skinning anymore lately, but I will eventually come back to it.
