It's great to see you all bubbly and excited that a feature similar to SE's (patented) accelerometer will be available for Nokia too. So now we know

Without offence, this review just regurgitates the review of the SE-friendly reviewer at mobile-review.com
I understand that i put this review as it was someone elses thoughts to add to the discussion.

SE patented? Are you joking? Accelerometer technology has long been used before SE. You remember Nokia 5500? - the sports S60 phone. Or the Iphone?
Anyway the K850 accelerator implementation is retarted. It is only activated when viewing pictures. In the N95 it works for the entire UI.

N95 does turn landscape only when slide upwards, even in the gallery. Not automatic like the iphone and k850.

you forget about W710 matey

N95 accelerometer works entirely in the whole UI? when? i think when N95 was released. originally it's accelerometer was only for taking pictures, not for autorotating, it's not that long ago that someone discovered that it's accelerometer can be used for autorotate - and the funny thing was that it was only discovered when W910 and K850 already sports the autorotation. seems that nokia modders wants to imitate iphone and K850/W910 autorotate as they are jealous to them
" It is only activated when viewing pictures. "
You failed to do your research once again matey
K850 accelerometer is used for the following:
-gaming (have you played marble madness)
-Media manager(are you familiar with the PSP like interface in K850?

)
-music playing or shaker(if flashed to W910 firmware)
-3rd Java Applications (if someone would create an app like step counter, or W580 like sport applications, most powerful capability of k850's motion sensor

)
and the motion sensor in K850 has many more possibilities other than that - thanks to it's native support via java API

actually the autorotate can be used for menu autorotate if ever hackers/modders/developers would liked it. but they don't because it's not that useable as the upright position usage is already convenient.

True. Maybe some people find the auto-rotate nifty to have. (For me, I dont mind so much as I can always slide the keypad to go into landscape. No accidentally activation).
And there is no need to hack/mod like flashing K850 with W910 firmware to have the shake feature

I bet very soon somebody will write a simple app to do just this for the N95. I also bet the step counter app will soon surface for N95. And from here, it would be not difficult to write a plug-in which mimics the pressing of the direction keys. So you can play any of the existing games (without modding) using the accelerometer.
Lesson here is that the one-year-old N95 can whoops K850 on this supposedly novelty functions.

IF N70 has the built-in accelerator chip, the it would also whoops K850 in this aspect as well.

(Is what you want me to say...haha)

No one spotted out UI speed camera focusing speed and saving speed. How the contenders perform?
Moreover, will N95 black sport a proper flash?
About the quality: at the moment N95 picture quality is better. But probabily it's a matter of time, till shaped K850 firmware will gain in terms of quality.

Ooh...Nokia 5500, iPhone, cutting edge stuff huh? What's this then?

It even became quite big and was settled at the courts and you think I'm joking. So know we know the kind of crap you fill this forum with, just to take quick bash at SE. Why you go out of your way to do this is beyond me. I'm just gonna go ahead and ignore you after this just like what I'm doing with mario2004 because like him, you don't offer anything useful aside from giving comfort to Nokia lovers
