So some people here *really* expect a miracle to happen in the couple of weeks (if at all) till it will be released? Because that sort of crappy picture quality can't be changed with a simple FW upgrade...

@nettl

Well if you look at my post on page 4 you'll see that both the 5Mp shots are inferior to my 2.0Mp V640i shot so I wouldn't go reading too much into those sample photos.

There seem to be so many naive, cynical, angry people here ready to pick on SE without actually checking whether or not they're being DUPED by trolls...

Just calm down everyone, wait and see.

It seems that there is some firmware issues wiith the c902 compared with Nokia's one as you can see, this very same site produced a different picture quality from c902.

You guys can see further on page 3 of the site.
The only gripe about cybershots now is that they tend to over-sharpen and make the pictures jagged...

That were taken under completely different circumstances and thus mean nothing for a comparison - that's just another attempt at making things look brighter than they are.

@tai
Well those C902 photos look great! BTW what language is that?

@nettl
Of course they were taken under different circumstances, but I chose a V640i photo which uses similar colours for the comparison. That picture is from my V640i Review as mentioned in my signature where you'll find the same shot taken by my wife's 8.1Mp Sony DSC-H3 Digicam for comparison. It's interesting how similar the shots are, the main difference being that the DSC-H3 is better at handling extremes of light, as you would expect.

I've mentioned in the past that I don't believe the photographers on those review sites are very talented, there's no sign of the 'rule of thirds' being used, in fact composition and general subject matter sux BIGTIME. When you use a camera you need favourable lighting conditions whether its a T610 or a K850 or even a DSC-H3. Whadya expect?

Its Chinese. SO I see that those 2 sets of pictures were taken by different "companies", which I can now assume that the photos taken by IT168.com were having phones with poorer firmware, compared to the one Mizzle had. Picture quality is not bad, but I would stil like to see some quality taken like the ones from k770i. Its sensor rocks.

Now that statements just makes no sense - do you really want reviewers to place an untypical effort into shooting just to make a product look better and mislead people that are taking casual snapshots only (or in other words, the VAST majority of buyers) into believing the camera is great when it's not 95% of all times?

I'd rather see a review that shows me untypically bad pictures and experience some pleasant surprises in real life than the other way round.

Somebody needs to take off those rose-tinted glasses for once I'd say...

It works fine with me.
Try to enter only http://blog.se-nse.net/ and find the post named C902 Shoot-out in Berlin. It's in the front page btw.
