have just got this phone myself and have to agree with bhavv about the web browsing and zooming, also hate the t mobile branding it has removed alot of the phones 'personality'. other than that its a great phone. one question to remove branding on an lg do you just unlock it or is it like the sony ericsson where you need to debrand and unlock

Use Opera Mini.
I just remembered to install it today and it works really nicely. It gives you a touch D Pad at the bottom of the screen, with just two levels of comfortable zooming, you move around with the D Pad too like you would on a normal phone.
The inbuilt browser needs to have auto zoom levels, or at least stick to your chosen zoom level for each page.

battery life is quite good in general use-txts, calls, playing music, basic stuff, i can get seceral days without a recharge. when you start using games, apps, camera the battery life seems to drop rapidly, using these ive managed to kill the battery within a day (but was using the camera a lot, which seems to be the biggest drain).
tbh with you battery life is gonna depend heavily on what your going to be using the most, im happy with the battery life
@bhavv - what app have you been using to sync to the phone to transfer your music and playlists, ive had no luck with anything yet. windows media player transfered everything ok(some missing album art) but when i went into phones media pllayer all playlists were listed as unknown, when opened there waqs nothing in them, ive had the same result with winamp and media monkey.
any help would be apreciated
edit another question - the homescreen cube, are the default pics displayed supposed to change when you add your own pics and music to medi page, add apps to the apps page, add widgets to the widget page.

Just discovered while texting that if you need to delete a letter to get the cursor to that letter, press on the screen near the letter and the area will be magnified.
Then drag your finger along to the letter you wont.
Pretty cool. makes it a lot easier to place the cursor that way.

Are you able to multitask on it? Like run multiple java apps plus use the cam all at once?

I see
www.clove.co.uk selling this SIM free for 299 pounds.
They ship to the U.S. Is this a reputable retailer? Not really exposed to U.K. sites.
