It's very desapointing that it runs S60. I hate the S60, so I can say only "Goodbue Idou, hello Aino".

Idou now is so laggy that it just can be true!

I like the New symbian supports wallpaper animation! Unlike older symbian. I like this point very much.

C905 104.0 x 49.0 x 18.0 mm

Not as big as some made out in the Idou thread.

In what way is 5800xm laggy? The final proto i played with in December had a bit of lag here and there but the final unit is excellent esp. with the new V21 fw, and if you find that the transitions take long simply turn them off and it becomes very fast.

As I said before, a processor isn't the only important thing - it's the OS that sits on top of it. S60 has always been quite laggy, but 5th Edition has a long way to go.

The transitions can both slow the device down, as well as covering for any other delays, so sometimes turning them off highlights the lags even more - if you see what I mean (use one and you'll see!).

I can't see major optimisation turning it into something as slick as an iPhone before it's released - but I can live in hope I suppose! And, to be fair, it's not as if it's THAT slow - but I just think a lot of people will be disappointed in October when we may have seen (or even got) the new iPhone, the Palm Pre and other touchscreen devices - as well as more Android products hitting the market, some announced, some not.

I think the Aino has stolen some of the thunder, and if you want a 12.1 megapixel camera - there will be models from both LG and Samsung announced very soon - and no doubt on sale on, or before, the Satio hits the shelves.
