@golemsmate

What did you think? There's not a single phone out there with no problems. I still give a 10/10 to the Quality

@ros-mari

I think that it will get a bit loose after one-two months of use and that"s normal.

To you with sound problems try updating the firmware and let us know

well this is my first SE mobile product after 3 years...
i don't have any prove regarding this, but maybe the mechanism designed to be have little wobble (gap) so if the mobile getting warm (in use/enviroment temperature) there will be no part cracking ?
well just my random thought because, some people said that their phone sometimes just fix themselves

got a w995 two days ago and it was like a €30 2nd hand phone! crashed several times from yesterday morning then wouldnt recognise any mobile networks but the wifi turned on when phone started, the youtube application wont work and the bluetooth wouldnt work. several other problems including phone freezing when tried to reset settings and this was the latest firmware for Meteor in ireland.

i brought this piece of trash back to the store and will get something that actually works if they can not replace it with a new working w995!

just want to add that i love this w995 and hope sony ericsson can get all the issues with software/hardware sorted out or they will lose me as a customer

The left top bottom of the screen area wobbles quite a bit when I press with fingers. Is this normal? Also, I feel the battery cover near the memory stick side seems press down slightly when you press as if it just didn't lock in firmly. Also, it's irritating how the kickstand pops out when I try to put phone in the pocket. I am getting used to putting it with screen facing front of pocket so the latch doesn't pop out.

I am going to check another phone in store and see if all W995s have the problem. Is they do, I will return the phone as it's already bothering me that the convinent feature to change profiles by pressing power button is lost here. I have to use # to set to silent mode or have to do couple of clicks to get to other profiles.

dam, so many complaints already? Yep its normal for sliders to wobble,well when FORCED to, my N81 doesnt wobble unless i apply pressure to the left side, so it only moves a bit to the right but try do the opposite direction and its VERY tight and solid,and this only happens when its open, when closed its solid.

Just came back from SonyStyle store here and the display model which probably gets rough hands felt rock solid unlike mine which was handled with extra care

my phone had that wobble too whenever i pressed the top half it would tap off the bottom. sony has serious quality issues in the last few years makes me think have they moved production to somewhere with worse quality control or are they delibretly trying to make their phones break after a week?
