Image quality comes under the banner of 'Opera Turbo' doesn't it? Not that it seems to work.

Really enjoying the Beta3, but it drains the battery at a rediculous speed. Worth it though... Now all I need are rss feeds and a way to make it the default browser!

turn OFF settings-->opera turbo. so that the images load with original quality.

Opera Turbo is a handy compression system implementation. When it's turned on, Opera's servers will download the web page you want, compress it and all the picures (which look worse, obviously) before sending it to your phone.

As there's so much less data going over your phone's internet conection it speeds up browsing quite dramatically, cheaper too if charged per megabyte.

Useful for slow dial up connections at home as well on the full version of Opera, or in my case if a housemate drains the bandwidth dry downloading vast amounts of crap.

Which browser you guys use? i use 10 and with turbo enable it's kinda slower than it disable..weird.. does anyone experience that?

MORE good news, its now possible to set Opera Mobile10 as the default web browser on S60v5 devices, just go to Settings- Phone- Application sett.- Default Apps.- Browsing internet, and set Opera Mobile.
Installed on 5800xm,havent tested yet though,busy enjoying Mini5.
