I have to agree with Vlammetje and guyvernet here. I work for a well known US computer company, and we have public forums. I am allowed to post there, to help people if I am able to, but I am not allowed to identify myself as an employee.

Anything I say could have legal implications for the company. The PR dept is there to issue statements to the public.

I find it either complete bs that you work for SE, or complete stupidity if you actually do ...

He's either had second thoughts about posting 'inside information', was pulling our legs, or has been sacked!

Not a word from ben@sonyericsson for a couple of days. Did he get cold feet, or what?

@jcwhite_uk: I'm sorry, I didn't notice your and Sammy_boys previous posts !

There was a delay between the time I wrote my post and the time I posted it, and unfortunately I forgot to check what had been posted in the meantime. That was really careless of me... .

I'll have to agree with that. If I had an employee making public statements about my products or services, I'd be horrified if they used anything short of perfect grammar and spelling. I'm not criticising your use of language, but I'm just stating from a corporate point of view it doesn't look very professional.

I know you said your manager knows about this etc, but personally if what you say is all true, I'd still be VERY wary about saying anything else at all. People have lost their jobs over a lot less. Also if you started to give us information that SE doesn't want the public to know, you may be in breach of contract or something similar.

Also this is why there are PR departments and unless you're actually authorised to make statements on SE's behalf (from right up the top of the ladder!) I'd just be wary.

I also agree with that.. This is crucial!

Okay....

You say you work for SE uk and are playing with the P910i!

I'd like to ask you something...

What colour is the boot-up screen? (I mean not the logo but the background).
And how many times you can zoom in a picture in full-screen-display-mode?
And what is the number of free space Sman displays on the C-drive?

I you got all 3 right I believe you!
