I like the look of S700i. Much more than S65. But before I make my decision I have to see the phone and hold it in my hands.

My old Pantech G500 had dual 260k screens and they were really nice too look at, although not really necessary. Now I've got a K700i, and I couldn't be more happy with it. I hate the look of the S700, and its too bulky. When you buy a mobile phone size and looks are really important

S700/K700 diff (HxWxD) = 8.5x3.9x5.0 mm
S700/P900 diff (HxWxD) = 8.5x8.0x0.5 mm
I would say, size wise its as close to K700 (if not closer) as it is to P910. Weight wise on the otherhand its closer to P910 than K700.
With other words S700 is something between K700 and P910.
Concidering the screen size, I think its small.

Well, I do think the thickness of the phone is the most important dimension. A thicker phone will create a bigger bulge in your trousers, (although I've had no complaints so far)

. I suppose the weight will also determine whether the phone can be carried in the pocket conveniently.
I have had my T610 for 15 months, and I only look at it when it rings or if I make a call. I would think I've spent little more than an hour in total looking at the phone during that time, and it sits either in my pocket or out of sight on a shelf.
My point is that I am concerned that so many people make a judgement on how it looks, and put the design, function, efficiency, robustness, and convenience to the back of their minds. Personally, I couldn't much care if my phone looks like a black blob, so long as it functions efficiently as a phone, it has a reasonable battery life, and it fits conveniently in my pocket without attracting attention to itself unless it rings when receiving a call. If they want to make it look nice, then fine, but it won't change my decision on what phone to buy.

But to many people their phone is a fashion statement. A lot of people don't care about the functionality, they just want the phone to talk and send sms

Wouldn't being able to talk on the phone and the ability to send SMS the "function" of a phone?

Those people will buy a Moto Raizor V3. Not S700 I would guess.
