Noticed this while browsing today.
Still trying to find a sim free V800 and came across this.
http://www.theorder.co.uk/sim[....]e_phone_deals.asp?phoneid=V800
"No Network Locks", does this mean it will be available on any network very soon ?

seeing as their images are all of the vodafone version, I wouldn't get my hops up.

unbranded version is Z800 or X800???? or it will be V800 like the voda branded???
i dont it will be Z because Z1010 is Z, and the V800 is better than Z1010

I'm not following that logic, there are just as many arguments to support that it would be a Z, but since nothing has been announced nobody knows.

According to SE Lund donīt hold your breath..
Spring -05 i was told, and when i said - By that time the successor should be in the pipeline he just smirked.. now interpret that as you like..
Also he hinted of a "kinda retro looking Bang & Olufsen inspired model" that was looking really nice.

well... I have heard rumours about the next high end 3G phones coming summer 2005
if that is the case

would be shooting in its own foot by releasing an unbranded V800 a few months earlier, so I am not explicitly counting on one either.
Besides, if it takes until 4 or 5 months into the new year anyway... wouldn't it make sense waiting for the successor?

You know its coming and you know it'll be better, i doubt there would still be a HUGE market for V800 then....
