I am impressed, a good healthy debate, without resorting to swear words, Well Done!

In my view, i think these two firmwares are probably very similair, as Scots said, why have two released in one week?

Maybe its like the T230 and the T290 - not much difference, except the colour

Well, are those new firmware versions really out? I get more and more confused every day! voda_jon says that they are. Then everybody who asks SE, or Vodafone gets a negative answer...

well, since it is not a new firmware version (it's all still R1D apparently) you;re bound to get a negative answer, right?

Since no other firmware is available to flash the phones with Vodafone staff will tell you there isn;t any.

Question is if the voda shops are able to reflash your phone with R1D itself to provide the altered ITP. According to voda_jon they should be able to, but has anybody been to a shop to get this done?

I already sent my phone when from SE told me that there is new firmware. Yesterday another guy from the service dept. told me that there isn't new firmware yet. Today a lady told me that she really doesn't know and that I should call again tommorrow when my phone will be ready...

What?!?!

Maybe it is different firmware for different countries who knows!

I mean, what is it gonna change! Releasing new firmware weeks after the phone is released, i think it isnt very important. The next, real, big, official firmware update will be the one you should fuss about

read back a little. Apparently it's to do with ITP code int he fw, which allows or disallows downloads from voda live.
