Oke,it's not fair to compare between K700 and D500.
You must compaere with the S700i and D500.

The screen quality form the S700i is two time's step ahead than the D500,becouse of the hich resolution, more pixels and more brichter.

The cam from the the S700i is one step ahead than the D500,yes it is becouse the S700i use CCD and the D500 use C-MOS chip.

The menu quality from the S700i is 8 time's step ahead from the D500,becouse it's so nice and easy to use.

The intern memory from the D500 is 80 MB 1 step ahead agains the S700i,but the S700i has 32 MB intern + 128 MB in MSD slot so total 160MB agains 80 MB that's 80 MB less.

They have both MP3 players, but the S700i can more store MP3 songs with very good quality.

The S700i has also FM radio 2 step ahead than the D500 and the S700i has nice real theme's support

They are both nice from design and build quality.
But the S700 is just a better phone 10 time's ahead than D500

So why compare between the K700i and the D500?
And the screen from the K700i is almost the same but the D500 has 265K VS 65K is not fair touch.

And The S700i is more value for money than the D500 it's so expensiv agains the S700i if i compare in quality features and hardware.

Finally found a problem with the D500 and all Samsung slider type phones (the new semi auto slide type)

I bought a pouch to store my D500 in. The pouch has a magnetic clasp. The slide system on the D500 uses 2 small magnets. When the phone is put into the pouch it becomes active as if the slide is open, enableing the keys and other functions. Take the phone out and it goes back into locked mode. The pouch's magnetic clasp interfears with the phone's internals.

My advice is not to use a pouch with the D500 that has a magnetic closing feature unless you want you phone to make a 80 minute call that it should'nt have.

Internal 32 Mb external 16MB,32MB,64MB and 128MB.

So.............32 + 128 = 160MB
