well, i just downloaded the usb flash drivers, and i can get to install it by any way, it allways shows my an error message saying that is not possible to conclued tha process. Maybe i'm doying it wrong, i don't no, wich is the best way to install it?

I had problems with the online update too... I couldn't complete it. So I decided to flash it with Z800 f/w (R1X019). Everything works perfect now. Also, there is an option for 3G or GSM networks

I have R1J too and there is no option to switch off 3G/2G yet as vlam said I have also read in a few places that people have been able to do this with that firmware....still in two minds as wether to flash to Z800 or wait.

I bought the Cruiser dongle for 375$. It comes with 2 Fighter usb cables. If you think of it in a long term, it worths it's money... As for the f/w, no problem at all. FINALLY!!!

what is SETOOL?
I know that i can go to the SE website and it asks me questions and then does an update, is the update that it does simple to do or do you have to be a computer wiz?
Also is that update going to remove the vodafone features?

It is available via CLIENT version on TotalServer ! 1 credit only...and no need to buy cables or boxes or 'standalone versions'.
But in case you want to wait a few more days until the newer R1X031 is available from them. Might be a better choice now

i updated 2 days ago and got R1S025. Using the DRM packager i was able to set an mp4 as a rintone. abit tricky but saves me a few hundred kb.

I just updated to R1X031. Everything works fine. Also, the bug in the Desktop screen (white square behind the icons) is fixed.
