That is really good, i have just payed the last quartely bill for pipex, so i think i can cancel anytime between now and October
I think i will go with them then if they have 2mb in my area
I did here that the £9.99 from ntl is uncapped but i wouldnt want to take the risk as it states a limit of 3gb

i think your talking about the aol gold package if your uk based then you have unlimited downloads with aol, they have no monthly cap. great feature and i use a router so i never even have to use there software which is even better

that contract is capped at 2gb you have to pay 24.99 for an uncapped connection.
also not many exchanged can handle 8mb yet, though living in a major city you may have a better chance, though youll need to be very close to the exchange

I wish i could get 8mb but my exchange doesnt allow it, i can recieve 2mb maximum, i am on 1/2mb now so anything better than that will seem lightening fast compared to what i have now.
just deciding on were to go

NTL outlines plans for 10Mb broadband standard
Monday, August 8 2005, 13:17 BST -- by Neil Wilkes
NTL has announced plans to make 10Mb its new connection standard for broadband customers.
The changeover will begin later this year for 3Mb customers, with rollout following across the remainder of the network through 2006.
At present, the firm has "no plans" to change monthly prices; instead, a number of 10Mb packages will be offered with differing usage limits. The allowance for 3Mb connections will increase from 30Gb to 75Gb following the upgrade.
"Our broadband services will become amongst the most innovative in the world and certainly well ahead of anything else in the UK," said Simon Duffy, Chief Executive Officer of ntl. "This is a major step towards delivering Britain’s digital future."
The current cable network is capable of top speeds of between 30Mb and 50Mb.
