how about though if the new p-series took MS Pro, not just duos. That way we could have the benifits of bigger memory sticks, and use the adapter for our old duos. I think the highst MS is 4gb which is the size of the HD on that N series nokia.

I am not so sure wheter SE would leave Memory Stick technology for their mobile phones or not. You know... when you deal with SONY devices you will see MemoryStick as the major external storage.
Does any of you know technically how good is MemoryStick technology is, compared to other solid-state storages? Why is MemoryStick cost more expensive than other types (MMC/SD/CF etc.) ?

SE may be planning on also including SD card support...don't know?...That said the price of MS Pro Duo's are rapidly falling and now the PSP is out and Sony are creating more camera's that take Duo's as opposed to normal Memory Sticks it would be unlikely that they would drop the support for the Duo. Even more unlikely would be to drop it in favour of the larger sized normal memory sticks!!!

Why get a Nokia people only buy them because "I've had a Nokia before & I know how to use them because I'm too stupid or lazy to learn how to use a more advanced phone"
take the case off most nokia's & it will look like any other because they use the same guts & just flash the rom to make another phone because they are too lazy to make different phone

I'm sorry but I fail to see the relevance of your post! Not discussing the merits of SE joining / not joining the SD Card Association, just stating that they have! With regard to N Series?....how can you state it is 'more powerful' than an upcoming phone which may / may not be the one discussed here with an as yet unknown list of specs??...Go figure. That said, some of the N Series do look quite appealing.
