Which firmware is it? If R1x or proto firmware be carefull with mastereset. I have two dead protos because of masterreset. Proto-firmware has often bugs and it seems so that some one of the majorfunctions, the masterreset, is faulty. This will cause a complete dead handset because it can't start up again. If not really needed, just let it as it is.

There's nearly no other way to kill an ericsson by software. hardware problem, water etc. may kill it, but that's not the question. Most (99%) of sw-killed /// might be revived, as long as handset is able to start first boot sequence. But you need hard and software to reprogramm the handset. This might be (is) a problem with protos. If the used hardware is different to the final hardware, the final software might cause errors. Or there is no final SW like wakaba, purple, z700 to reprogramm the phone.

@Tiger What's Purple? Part of eri, which was developing satellite phones was merged with sony? Why was production of sat phones "freezed"? My T29s prototype has R1A1 FW with euro languages installed, although it does not seem to have the usual functions of the common T29s, it already has swatch internet time in it.

i think i like that r250d too...

btw, "invalid mobile" on my r520 and t39, when i place 2 Globe (service provider) prepaid,

but when i place post-pay and other network to those phones, no "invalid" problem

and when i place the 2 globe prepaid to my other Er phones, no problem encountered...

help?
