Well from experience, I have tried a Globe prepaid number on my r600 and it also displayed invalid mobile number.
Bleurdeur was right. With regards to Smart's 64k and 72k sim card(addict mobile version) be it prepaid and postpaid, I have been using both sim types on my vintage ga628 and sh888 for quite some time now and no problems encountered (Eraser or not;steadler or rotring or what) up to this writing.
Could it be the culprit is with the volts thing? Like an alcatel unit would accept 3 and 5 volts sim cards while other brands accept 3 volts only. (is there a 1.8 volts sim card???)
I tried a philips xenium
9@9 before and it only accepts 32k sim and not the 64k types.
gurus and eriman, please enlighten us.In your respective countries, what is the usual sim type (32k,64k,etc.) provided by your providers that works on your ericsson phones???

is your t29 proto already okay now? Is the "charging error" "stop charging" message (the message appears after 3-5 seconds charging be it on a desktop charger / CST 13 charger) solved now???
