Hi Guys,

Just recently got a REAL DEAL for a A1018s, ASIAN assembled (made by ///) 00W26, blue face panel FW CXC125145 prg 991105 1519, together with a standard slim batt for less than $2 USD, no charger, & at first it was all messed up physically & not really working anymore, would not even charge, but a few this & that by yours truly & "voila!!!" Its as gud as new.

Its rather amazing since this beats my R520m when it comes to network coverage for a dual band model. By the way its sim locked.

Another is my newly accquired HPR-20 all good, I was trying to snap it on my R380e but all does is blink & would not eventually turn on, but as I did check, the R380 series is one phone model that is compatible with it (per SE website that is).

Any idea why it wont work?

hpr10 isnt working with it either, probably cos of the fw. but if u turn the fone off and u attach it the, it will work, aslong u dont push any buttons. BUT with all /// fones hpr works great, even they are turned off!

I got my HPR10 to work with my previous R380s before, I'm just not so sure with the R380e, any idea of what FW might work with it?

By the way, I got to see a Sweden made GH318 the other day which was still pretty good & still had a plastic cover but declined buying it since it was just like the smaller version of Tiger's GH197. No outgoing SMS too, it came with a replacement charger & the battery which I thought was similar to the A1018s actually had 4 connectors to it.

I trie it & just like the GH197 the GA318 does not have any menu for sending SMS, just recieving.

Got my mint T18s proto today! Although it has a little scratch on it.
It's purple and still has the protective sticker on the screen.
The inside has a barcode and some printed writing including 00W12 and the stick still has some of the protective underside on, so it's still not totally stuck down.
Thw writing inside says something like "lacked" or something similar, quite odd.
Will post pictures later!
