@* WHY GORDONS WOWPhilippines will FAIL
Allow me to inject more pessimism into pinoy governance and to further the reason why many of us opt to find greener pastures outside our tinubuang lupa.
One of my officemates from SG and his friend visited Mla early this week. As I was indisposed last Monday night, they went to Malate by themselves thinking it was a nice and "expat-friendly" place to hang out. Being profusely forewarned of pickpocketers, taxi drivers, snatchers and the like, I was particularly enraged when the following day they confessed to being SHORTCHANGED by our beloved policemen. While walking at Malate, they were literally stopped by a marked police car (imagine the horror of being rounded up by police from a foreign country!!!), detained in the car and milked with the money they had at that time. On my friends account, the car initially went into circles at what seemed like the remedios circle, then after those shady crooks got what they wanted, they alighted them at Pedro Gil and gave them directions (!!!) how to go back to the hotel.
LANG HIYA TALAGA!!!! And of all people to get into trouble!!!! Imagine the bad publicity this will create!!! Putek talaga ang mga naka-unipormeng yan!!!

@arnoldc: eto pala pinaka-importanteng Korean word na super-useful talaga: kaka ju seyo? Means wala na bang tawad? Or tawad naman! (pero said pa rin in a tone as though you are asking). Korea ka pa ba until now?
@rota: nakakahiya talaga ugali ng ibang Pinoy na yan.
