We all love SE but Vit is right.
I was really into this device but now I have no idea which phone to buy. Vit pointed out the weaknesses of the phone well.

I hate Nokia and Apple, don't like the way Samsung handles things. Win Mobile is rubbish but I definetely need an OS. There is nothing left than buying Satio

Now that even Nokia is ditching symbian on the highends - see how they make the n97 and its owners look silly with the announcement of the n900 - WHY SE did not go full way with android instead of s60 v5 crap?

any1 wana explain why people keep going on about android? ive used the G1. Its shit. As for the hd thing, i find it easy to transfer the hd vid to the ps3. It looks excellent on my plasma..also, with custom roms for the hd now being available, its potential is massive. See the rom thread on i8910 forums to see the implementation of kastor ui for example..

@jj03
So your point is Omnia HD is a great phone or Satio will be great like Omnia HD?

i think satio has huge potential. However, wheather that potential will be realised is another thing. I do think that the hd is slightly different in that the handset has opened up a rom modding community. Already, they have released updates wìth some fantastic additions.

Look awesome? Are you sure? 1080p movies in H264 are only good for display on large screens with a minimun avg bit rate of 8000 and 9000 for action movies. If they have DTS soundtracks, these should be even bigger. Those files could reach 17 gigs for movies like Watchmen. Satio will come with 8 gigs of external storage. 16 gigs microsd cards I have seen are way too slow to sustain good bitrates like that or to deliver the peaks of data transfer. Even if it could handle those bit rates, the hardware wouldn't cope with that. 1080p movies with less than those bit rates would present awful problems like artifacts and the like. HD movies' forums don't even allow people to post things like nanoHD or microHD movies. Those are cr@p to watch on big screens. There are no miracles here.

Mobile devices like cel phones cannot cope with really good HD movies, yet, be it due to lack of storage or due to insufficient bandwidth/processor speed.

I do not see all that potencial in Satio, although I still consider to buy it when the price drops down.

@vit.. The hd's 720p output looks excellent on my panasonic viera. . It's 42inch. The bitrate of the record'd videos are huge. I have some from tuesday when i visited old trafford, . Here's one of the vid details : 1280 x 720 bitrate: 8644292 bit/s framerate : 24 fps.. Yes. I'm sure it looks fantastic.
