Olly232, It may be a feature in the newer models like R520 and T68. The R520 firmware R3B also does so. I am sure it is on R4 as well. This message was posted from a R520

hmm.. if the powering down w/ keylock is a bug, that may explain the odd occurance of why my phone is off sometimes... i thought it was a battery problem, but it may be this now... i keep it in the ICE-10 case and it buttons could be pressed if squeezed in the pockets hehe..

I got a R520 this week and sofar I do like it. It has replaced my T68i as my daily phone due to increased RF. Here are a few questions I have:

1> Will the IAT-10 antenna make a big difference? The RF is much better in my house, but there are still places where I get "SOS Calls Only"

2> When I activate speaker phone, is there a way to keep it active? After I make a call or anything, the speakerphone deactivates. Is there a way to keep it on until I turn it off?

3> Wap browsing seems very slow compaired to my T68i. Sometimes while browsing the forums I can't choose any more links and have to restart the session.

4> My phone has the "snooze issue". I'm sending it in to SE for a firmware update, will this fix it? I have R2K now.

The "power down with keylock" is not a bug, it's a feature
No seriously, it's a hardware reset function, if all else fails holding down the no-key for more than 10 seconds will turn off the phone. It's like removing the battery.

What is the latest firmware. Mine is R4A008. My phone resets randomly while connected to internet over GPRS. Does anyone knows solution? Also I see download rate as 4.2KB/Sec. With same configuration, (same pc, same cable, same operator), I see 5.5-6 KB/Sec with my Mom's R600. Can anyone explain this?
