Just a quick heads-up. Their is some rare Ericsson bits on Ebay (not me) in cluding a working Wakaba! I personally wont be going for the Wakaba but will be putting some bids in for some of the spares for sale.

Enjoy

(reposted here after advision from jcwhite_uk!)

hi,

i have a proto t36m - with debug s/w on it. I also have a palm zire (m150) (the cheap one!).

what i have had probs. with is sending ringtones from an eritones to the phone - this may be because the phone's irda doesn't function as it should (most likely reason!). As i said it is a proto - so it def. isn't the finished product - and i can see why they never released it - i heard that they had to change the cpu in it...

I know that the bluetooth worked - because my dad sent me something over it (business card i think) - but the phone book and calendar don't work properly. One really stupid thing with this ver. of the phone - is that when you try to turn it off it just crashes and the debug s/w tells you it has - the only way to turn it off is to take the battery out (debug s/w tells you by the flashing red led!).

thanks anyone who can help me!

Nah they're just genuine rather than a trader. Rather like someone trying to get £40 for a 3510i because they don't follow prices nowadays

@awave Nice that you have a T36m! You should hold onto that

@awave You should hold onto that

And post some pics.
Is it the yellow or blue one?
Can you tell, how you got it?
What is the firmwarecode? (statusmenu > * proto with debug-sw ... I would be proud (and pay a lot) to own such a phone.

@awave,

Tiger is right, you should hold on to that /// rarity of yours & post pics if you can too.

Normally proto's have very buggy firmwares & have a great tendency to crash or malfunction, in any case, could you make normal calls & sms with it?
