This might be a T29s proto, but not sure, because the box is named T28 limited, but the design is more T29-like, than T28-like:

That picture shows that it has flip release button that only appeared on the T28s. I think that could be a rare T28s.

That T28 proto you have is very very nice Tiger. The T29 design with the T28 flip mech.

i have a R300s - its black and proto. all of mine are except for my t18
- and it powers on with another bat. from other phone (A2618s), but bat. inside is fully dormant (i think
). dunno whether all features work :S
just an interesting thing - i took t36m to school today to see what everyone would think about it - and it was a real 'posh' phone - and someone thought it was a brand new se. model! (sorry for the se. part!) - so i was pretty amazed - once i told 'em it was an old proto. that was never released, and pretty rare at that...they didn't believe me!
