Hello there,
I have been having problems with the Gmail java app and not being able to access my inbox due to not having the correct certificate installed, so after some web and soul searching I found the missing link.
Typing
www.verisign.com/cgi-bin/support/rootcert/getrootcert.cer directly in the phone’s web browser and it will install the needed certificate.
It worked for me and I hope it works for you

Someone pin that previous post. This is the solution for the k750i problems with the gmail client.
I had downloaded all sorts of certs before and sent them to my phone to no avail. I tried this using the embedded browser (not Opera) and now Gmail app works fine. The Gcalsync app works as well too!

sorry to ask this but i had to do a complete reset on my phone an now the two certs from gMAIL is gone. can some on email it to me for my comp repairing now an only have my phone with mini opera to access it . thanks email:
