See the question here is not about the susceptibility but it's the thing that how most of us react & we never know who's gonna get struck by that hit & run so it's better that we should avoid those harmful things as much as possible because their safety is not proven at all.
There's a study by an university that mobile phone waves actually help in preventing Alzheimer's & they've carried out that study in mice & have published the paper as well but that doesn't mean we'll start using it more & more because harmful effects of mobile phones are more alarming now-a-days because of it's widespread usage. We should take atleast some measures to keep that thing at a distance by turning on the speaker phone or using headset.

I rarely use a headset, and besides, some studies report headset's as delivering more radiation to the head than just holding the phone to your ear...so go figure.

If you use a mobile phone, you may be the one in 100,000 cases who react very badly. You have way better odds of walking out onto the street and getting hit by a car to be honest. You could always just stay housebound to avoid all risk, but then you'd probably die from led paint or asbstos poisoning
