OK, so I'm a complete smartphone newbie but decided to find a site just like this as I'm sure I'll need the help.
Picked up the P990i from CPW yesterday - it was the last one they had, though looking at their stocklist they seem to have 8-9 in Slough.
At present I'm not doing so well - can't connect to PC or get internet connection owrking (though think I'm waiting on an email on sony for the latter).

I too am going to get a P990i on o2 from CPW, just waiting for my PAC code from orange. Can I ask, how much did you pay for it?
If you go to
www.sonyericsson.com you should be able to find the internet settings, if thats what the problem is?

Yes my deal was the result of bartering with them. With O2 there seems to be some flexibility with deals, i say push them and you can get a good deal, even if it takes a few calls. Good luck

I've had mine for nearly a week, done FW upgrade on it and I'm v happy with it.
Just waiting for my girlfriend to bring home my 4gb mem card and it will be complete!

Well what did you pay for that? as i posted earlier, given the deal O2 have offered me, £310 phone and my years contract, i'm in no rush to pay over the odds for this handset, even if i get it a few weeks earlier.
