shuvo, like what??? the only thing that comes to my mind is n93 having much better video quality...but then, it doesnīt have stereo bluetooth, something that works a treat on the P990. Look, for the money i payed for the p990, i could have bought a n93, but i didnīt want it...i find the p990 a better alround device - its smaller , lighter, with better input methods, stereo bluetooth, etc

I agree with touch screen is day to day issue. and u mentioned abt browsing but as per i know browsing in new safari based browser in S60 3rd edition is a way better than opera of P990 by menu review site right? so with the help of touch screen it acutally doesnt give better experince than by S60 3rd edition browser.
And abt A2DP is i agree with u its better in P990.

I GOT MY P990i YAY!!!! I juzt got it 30 mins ago...it seems stable at the moment but i hvnt done much with it though...however i did try the business card scanner n it recognized 1 card perfectly but totally messd up readin my card....i gess it can support limited fonts..
However i need 2 ask u ppl....how should i upgrade my P990i...i mean i need 2 kno the sequence...1st i need 2 format then update then format? someone pls elaborate how i go abt it....im gonna load it wid applicatins when i get home...hope it duznt disappoint me...

It is time for me to fulfil my promise. In a day or two I'll send you some nice applications (I have so much work, don't have time to send now).
About N93, I will always agree with any owner of it saying it's better then P990. I am having no problem to see with other people eyes. So l fully understand that for many people other phone then mine is better (N93 for example) and accept that without hesitation. But for me P990 is the very best, the most amazing phone that no other can come close. That's why I gave money for it:))

While browsing on a phone I must say that the P990i is a better toy then the N93. Its soooo easy with the stylis. I allsow have a N80 so for me the P990i is sooo much better for this. And as for the A2DP its absolutely super great. The RDS Radio, Movie Player, Music Player. Hmmm, this list can go on and on and on and.... Dont get me wrong now, I allsow like Nokia a hole lot. But for me right now, there is no better phone then the P990i. Im still in LOVE

Hey ppl....iv had my P990 for nearly a day now....and it crashed only once...tht was also when i uploaded some application which was supposd 2 b opened in open mode but i started it in flip mode...other than tht my P990 is NOT Restarting/rebooting and also itz not as slow as ppl had said it wud b...infact itz pretty fast...so i wz wonderin whether i hv the latest firmware? I check mine and here is wat i found:
Phone - R5A006
Bluetooth - R4F01
Organizer - R3A04
CDA - R3A03
Please let me know whether this is the latest firmware or not? If it isnt then which is the latest one and should i update it considering i do;nt have any apparent problems atleast till now....If i shud update then please can someone tell me the procedure like when i shud format and master reset etc....Also can someone tell me what updates will i get if i get the new firmware?
Because i noticed tht my business card scanner isnt scanning correctly...it did scan only 1 card perfectly and tht card was from Singapore...it has not been able 2 scan my local made cards...will a firmware update resolve tht issue (recognition of more fonts)????
