There is such slider - but how do you go on about 2 songs further , or if you want to change the artist?
1. Um, I don't know, press the slider in the respective direction twice maybe?!
2. Take out phone; navigate to artists in music player; choose your desired filter list; put phone back in pocket; simple

No, you cannot browse the library THROUGH the headset. I believe I mentioned this somewhere.
It would be nice, since you can do the same with the phonebook and calls menu, but its very tedious. Browsing the music library would be equally a pain!
Still, would be nice.
Here's a shot of my headset

Yeah very simple , why the hell would I need a Bluetooth device if I am to navigate and take out the phone?!? - you might as well be using the hbh ds205 and spend the other 30Euro on something else then...
That's really very very bad that you cant browse through the music

...whatever. I'm buying it anyways. I find it enough to be able to skip to previous/next track.

then buy the hbh ds205 or the Motorola one - if you dont need a display and all you can do is skip 1 track at a time

the ds205 wouldn't be a problem if you have an MBW-100 or MBW-150
I do enjoy the OLED on the DS980 though - it's very sharp!

I'm getting a bit disappointed with my DS980. I'm using it with a W960i. My comments:
The battery life seems quite poor (unless mine is faulty). I've not done a "scientific" test but I think it's only about three hours if you switch it on and off a lot.
It switches off when the battery shows about a third full. You get the annoying beeps (oh and are they ANNOYING!) and off it goes!
It bleeps (see above) quite a lot - I think this is when it switches frequency.
No folder traverse - a bit of a PITA.
It can be a real pain making phone calls - many a time I've tried to call after navigating through the phone book and nothing happens (could be a bug with the W960 I guess). You then have to navigate all the way back to the phone no again!
It's not very loud - this is really noticible in urban situations (traffic, on the bus etc.).
Overall - it's OK but I was expecting a bit better for my £57 - might send it back as faulty (based on the battery life).
Cheers,
Derek.

So I just got one of these from Amazon..but it looks like a possible refurb.
Anyone have a complete list of what it comes with?
In my box:
1 Unit w/ one set of earbuds already on it (very dusty with maybe some grease or ear wax *shudder*)
3 Manual's in different languages
1 Bluetooth general booklet
0 Carrying pouch ( says on first post?? )
Additionally, on my box it says packaged 08W06..but on the unit itself it says 07W42. Totally smells like a refurb ( sent back in and repackaged ).
Also, the bluetooth booklet says battery can only be charged above 10 C (50F). Anyone have any problems charging at say 30F?
