W960i at 17?

8 phones since they were TEN years old?

Doesn't really need any more explination, it's just wrong.

i agree thats a too many. but its not ''shocking'' or ''sickening''
ten years old is way to young for a phone

hmmm i can say i've had a lot more than that....and my first phone was when i was in beavers(before cub scouts lol). TBH i'm starting to agree with the younger posters here now, and Daedalus i dont wwanna fall out or owt but whats wrong with a younger kid owning a decent phne if they use all the features.....its jsut the same as an older person owning it and using them? also how mnay older people do you see who get the best phone cos its what they're allowed on their contract, but only use calls and texting?

I consider the fact that a ten year old would have a phone, especially 7 years ago, both shocking and sickening. Perhaps the words are a little strong, but it gets my point across clearly.

Hey i got my first phone when i just started high school. Is that too early?

The first phone was my dad's old sprint phone. (some Samsung phone) reason i got it was because my dad's company gave him a nextel phone.

Since then i've bought three phones:

Samsung M900 (Sprint)
SE K750i
and SE P1i

All those with my own money that i either earned or worked for as a part time job.

But one time during the summer i was working in a school when i saw 4 or 5 3rd-4th grader s with SE phones! It was pretty shocking how generations has changed so much. Kids during my generation would get there phones from at least 7th grade.
