A little spoiler: Hamas fired 3,000 rockets to Israeli territory in 2008 alone. Israel has killed over 500 people in the recent offensive, perhaps in a single attempt of retaliation at what happened to their own women and children over the years. Don't say who started what, please.

That's exactly the point; too much exposure has been made about Israel's atrocities. Palestine has always been positioned as victims because they have always had a dumb government, a weaker military and suicide bombers (Hamas) in their fold.
