I'm always wondered these arguments that SE is far ahead Nokia from the technology point of view.
Could someone list here the technologies used in SE phones, but not in Nokia phones. EMS came in to my mind, but that's basicly it. Anything else??

Themes are nice . U can change the color of background , font , cursor , toolbar etc .Just like windows . Unlike , Nokia . jst the toolbar can change . Font , cursor , background (white) cant change .
too bad .
What else do the
phones differ aside from colour display ?

actually in contrary...7110 is the first wap phone out....8810 is one of the first tht make plastic casing have metal finish (coating tech)....nokia also the first to implement integrated antenna. Tht's one of the three thing I remember.
interface wise...it is still user preference and everyone is claiming their interface is the best but yet no body agree tht hehe.

Lets give some credit where credit is due ppl, there is a reason why Nokia is the world market leader.

Thankyou for your comments, i`m sure everyone here respects your comprehensive experience with Apple computers & Sonyericsson phones, i see from other posts that you use a Nk 6510. if only SE made a phone that pushed the boundries of technology as far as that !

I would think the R380 was way even ahead of the 1st Nokia communicator, counting the size vs package factor. And after all, Nokia did start out very well about a decade ago (up to the 8210, I would say, after which they began churning out clones in different colours). And most of these you listed are early innovations during that era. Nowadays? Anyone?
