Wow... there is a lot of uniformed people out there.
This whole form is sad, listen to you people. On both sides of the issue. Most of these comments are wrong and vile!
I want to thank Froddan and ynohtna for their relevant comments.
I will say this; war is very unfortunate, and any life lost is horrible. But I do support my country, and I feel that the greater good is in mind during this campaign.

I've been following this invasion of Iraq closely, like most of us have I belive.
But how come that every single one so far that says that they will fight and die for Saddam?
How come there are hundreds of civilian people from all over Iraq who travels to Bagdad to fight agains US and it's "allies".
How come I haven't even seen a single fake interview where someone says "I/We love US, they will free us from the evil Saddam"!.
How come the war has been going on for almost a week now and there has been very little progress.
How come all you hear about is that US and it's "allies" are having trouble with this and that city.
How come?
Isn't it time to realize that you were wrong about Saddam?
Itsn't it time to realize that nobody want's to be "rescued"!?
Isn't it time to realize that most of the Iraqi people want Saddam, much more than they want US to invade them.
Isn't it time to realize that there are more people in america that doesn't want Bush as president than there is people that likes Bush?
Isn't america really the country that should be invaded, to free the people from Bush?
I actually think there would be little resistance.. Saddam is obviously more liked by his people than Bush is by his people.
(and no, Iraqi people aren't fighting cause they fear the wrath of Saddam if they don't, civilian Iraqi people fight for what they want.. and obviously it's not rescuing!)
Time to pull out US and "allies".. and face the truth, nobody wan't your rescuing!
(but of course this war isn't about rescuing)
It's a great democratic world we live in! Where people need to be forced to war to get "what they want"..
When people need to die, cause they don't understand their own good.
Hey people of Iraq! Stop fighting! Don't you understand? You don't want Saddam!

hmmm... if the usa was not around then maybe russia would be the super power now. the usa acted as a balance against russia or the former soviet union so that nuclear war would be avoided which defirnitely it was due to we are still all here. most of us just all see the bad things the usa did to most of the countries in this world. they liberated the philippines from which spain was treating it badly for almost 400 yrs. at that time and they helped my country of origin to become a nation. they promised independence and so they gave that country independence. the usa has been giving money to poor countries that's why the it has a very big debt to the UN. i would rather have the usa hold nukes than saddam due to saddam will use it to wage war and not the usa. the usa used nukes on japan to stop world war 2 and avoid milloins of lives lost. if they did not use it then the war would have gone for 5 more years and japan attacked them first. which is better, nukes or napalm? the germans prefer surrender but the japs would fight to the end. me i prefer to fight the germans than the japs who are really brave. when the ussr attacked and invaded most of eastern europe did anyone in the world do anything to stop them? if the usa invaded a country everyone would give them hell like what is happening in this forum. most are also bigots and racists like the muslims here who hates the jews. islam is a religion of tolerance like for example; when the ottoman turks took control of territories previously held by the roman empire like palestine or eastern europe they did not force the christians to convert to islam. the sultan just left them alone to do what they want to do, they also permitted pilgrimages to the holy land and worship, practice their own religions. when the chirstians under their control saw that their new masters are lenient and are tolerating them they willfully converted to islam which is the main reason why islam grew at a rapid pace. muslim, christian and jew were living side by side as neighbors in jerusalem without any problems. do not just see the bad things someone has done but also see if they did some good even if how small it was at least they did some good. i too watch the news everyday and i can see that the iraqi people in basra are grateful for the humanitarian aid they are giving them. they are also protecting the kurds and other tribes that saddam has been slaughteing for decades now for they are the rival tribes of his shiites. he has been killing his own people and has used chems against them. did the usa do that to their own citizens? did any muslim nation got mad at saddam for gassing the kurds and iran? did they ever did any action to show they did not like saddams actions? if i were bush senior back in 1991 i will not stop saddam from taking control of kuwait and other arab nation he invades. we'll see who the arab nations come for help for we all know that he will not stop at kuwait. their are a lot of weak arab nations that saddam can kick ass. at that time they are all scared of him. nevertheless, peace out and in
