well very interesting....
Home depot has a new spray paint especially for plastic ie. outdoor furniture. Not supposed to scratch off. Yes I know the lower housing is alloy.

Ebay has severaly covers and both the blue and red oem covers also some metallic plastic generic ones in 10 colors or somthing like that.

Thanks for the info on changing the cover.....bookmarking for future ref.

I like that white color. I was hoping to have my T610 customize like that as well. I wanted it to look somewhat like the T630.

The problem I'm having is that, I can't really seem to open the atena cover. It seem so stiff and hard just to pop up. Does anyone know a detailed and better way to do it? I tried all my might but it doesn't seem to come out and I'm afraid to break it.

@xpmillinium: Your black SE T610 is really a very good piece of work. Excellent! And what an instruction. Incredible!

Ipod t610

anyway... Say I buy a clear housing on ebay, and spraypaint the inside of it:

1) will I acheive a glossy look
2) will the paint affect the actual phone

I will try that on summer, but with the Z600 covers and using Tamiya Spray Paint (for modelism, about 3USD a 100ml can)
