In my opinion the staff in these stores are only interested in selling contracts as this is how they earn the highest commision. Most of the phones they are asked about are from teenagers wanting the latest nokia street phone with the loudest ring and the flashiest snap on covers available. When it comes to phones that are serious tools they have no knowledge as they have no interest in them. And while this is good for the store in, as they push a lot of contracts this way, it isn't for the serious

Rubbish...many these days staff DO know specialist knowledge about serious phones...especially those staff who browse such forums.
Secondly many of us get judged on how well we inform customers these days rather then how many Nokias we can sell to Gary the builder!
At the end of the day the arguement stops at the fact that in MOST professions these days there are people that are genuinly interested in their jobs and then there are those simply there for the paycheck!
